Project description
In light of the upcoming elections in the Netherlands, the Sustainable Ocean Community along with a whole team of other organizations and researchers, aim to inform the country on how their vote can impact our ocean.
1) My goal for the first infographic was to illustrate a typical Dutch seaside scene with the ultimate purpose of connecting to the reader by making them feel the relevance of the ocean and emotionally connect to the topic.
2) Next, following a hackathon with all the parties involved, data was collected on the extent to which each Dutch political party is for or against certain regulations, motions and laws.
3) Finally, the team wanted to have some promotional materials to tease the upcoming “ZeeWijzer”, for which we created a carousel (for social media) and a one-pager (to send to tv/radio shows) depicting a timeline of recent events and news articles about the ocean.
