Project description
As part of a Viz for Social Good brief. I created this visual for the inspiring non-profit organization Tap Elderly Women’s Wisdom for Youth. Contrary to some of my colleagues who created interactive dashboards, my idea was to create a static one-pager that would immediately inform stakeholders of the importance of this organization’s work at a single glance.

Data was received as part of this VfSG project from TEWWY directly and combined with WHO benchmarks.. Chart was prototyped in Microsoft Excel and the data visualization was realized using Adobe Illustrator.
Process
- Data preparation – Explore and clean the data that was provided in Excel. Identify relevant statistics for the final product.
- Prototyping & feedback gathering – Statistics are visualized through different charts, shapes, levels of granularity in Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
- Data visualization – The chosen charts are pieced together following a common visual alphabet.
