Project description

I was asked by SciComm Collective to visually summarize a workshop they organized in which Liz Neeley talked about the concept of storytelling. They requested two deliverables in two languages:

• A single-page infographic (in English and in French)
• A social media carousel version of that infographic (in English and in French)

For both deliverables, only the English versions are included here. For the French versions, please refer to the website or socials of SciComm Collective.

Information from the webinar was filtered and organized. The visualization was realized using Adobe Illustrator.

Process

1. Watch and rewatch the webinar – Take notes of the most important messages and key takeaways. Rewatch a few times to ensure and confirm.
2. Prototyping & feedback gathering – Initial English language version created and feedback gathered. English text was translated by SciCommCollective to French to then create identical versions in French.
3. Finalization & delivery – Finalize the design and deliver in the desired formatting.
