Project description
This topic is personal for me, as I grew up on this beautiful island. I noticed that some Dutch news outlets tend to be a bit biased when it comes to Curaçao and the other Caribbean islands within the kingdom. Whenever our people do “bad” things such as criminal acts we are usually referred to as people from Curaçao, whereas accomplishments (e.g., in sports) are part of the Dutch (in the broader sense) pride. This infographic is my attempt to put Curaçao in the spotlight and give the island the attention it deserves.
