Project description

Talk App focuses on promoting well-being and strengthening the safety culture in organizations, with the aim of preventing harmful situations. They want to create a working and learning environment in which people feel valued, supported and safe.

For this amazing new initiative, I was asked to design the logo and branding elements, as well as the data visualisations that are incorporated in the app’s UI-design that I also contributed to.

For the logo and branding elements, Adobe Illustrator was used. For the UI design and data visualisations, I used Figma.

Process

The process for this project was extensive and very iterative. This was the general step-by-step.

1. Consult – Discuss and understand the essence of the new company, as well as the wishes, ideas and inspiration that serve as the starting point.
2. Prototyping & feedback gathering – Share 3 branding design proposals and build on the one that is chosen. Continue iterating by staying in close contact with the CEO of Talk App and incorporating their feedback every step of the way.
3. Finalization & delivery – The chosen design is finalized and delivered in the necessary formatting for printing. For the UI design and data visualisations, the final version of the Figma project was shared with a technical third party for implementation.
